HEY FAMILIES!
This month we are teaching kids the truth, “I Am Meant to Know God.” Kids will learn amazing characteristics about God—He is holy, He never changes, He is just and kind and He is wise. Knowing who God is and what He is like helps us know and believe who He made us to be.
📖 FAMILY MEMORY VERSE
"And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” John 17:3
FEBRUARY 26 | MARCH 1: GOD IS HOLY(ISAIAH 6; LEVITICUS 16; 19; 26)
God is holy and set apart, and our sin separates us from Him.
Kids can know that when we put our trust in Jesus, we are forgiven of our sins and invited to live in relationship with God.
MARCH 5 | 8: GOD NEVER CHANGES (GENESIS 1–3; 9; 12; 15; 17 DEUTERONOMY 29; HEBREWS 8)
God is faithful to keep His promises, and He never changes. He sent Jesus to rescue us.
Kids can know that God is trustworthy. No matter what is happening, He never changes.
MARCH 12 | 15: GOD IS JUST AND KIND (GENESIS 6–9)
Just like God provided a way of rescue through the ark, God provided the greatest rescue through Jesus.
Kids can know that when we put our trust in Jesus, we can be forgiven of our sins and have a relationship with Him forever.
MARCH 19 | 22: GOD IS WISE (DANIEL 2; 7–12)
Daniel and his friends trusted God. They prayed, and God worked through Daniel to know and interpret the dream.
Kids can know that we too can trust God’s wisdom and turn to Him when we don’t know what to do.
MARCH 26 | 29: JESUS IS KING (MATTHEW 21; MARK 11; LUKE 19; JOHN 12)
Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem and the people celebrated because they thought He was a king who would help them.
Kids can know that Jesus is the one true King. God sent Him to rescue us from sin and death so we can have a relationship with God forever.
