Kids are learning about when the religious leaders rejected Jesus and turned the people against Him. This rejection, however, was part of God’s plan to rescue the broken world!
Family Memory Verse:
To all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12
Big Picture Question:
Q: Why do people reject Jesus? A: The Bible tells us that people reject Jesus because all people are born sinful and want to make themselves happy rather than obey God.
Anyone can follow Jesus and be part of his community. People are rescued from sin only by trusting in Him. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.
November 16-19 John 11-12; Acts 18
When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He showed that He has power over death. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead. He welcomes those who trust in Him into his community and gives them eternal life!
November 26 Ephesians 4 & 6
Paul told believers to be ready to fight a spiritual battle every day. We can fight the battle against evil, knowing that Jesus has already won! A great way to do this is by being in community with other believers who are fighting the battle too.

Love One International
Did you know that each week your kids are praying for children at Love One International in Uganda? This month they prayed for Cyrus, a 10 month old who was very sick and unable to eat. After nine days in the hospital, Cyrus was sent to the Love One Center. Cyrus is now 14 months old and is making amazing progress! As a family, pray that Cyrus would continue to grow in health and that he would experience the love of God through the people at Love One International!
