Hey families,

Over the next two months kids are walking through the Discipleship Journey Triangle alongside you in our new series, Follow Me! The Discipleship Journey Triangle is a tool that our church has created to help us take next steps as followers of Jesus – and this includes our kids! The moment we become a follower of Jesus, we begin our Discipleship Journey. Kids will learn that disciples of Jesus love all people, discover their identity in Jesus, and seek to deepen a relationship with Him.

WEEKLY OVERVIEW

May 1+4: A disciple gives their first and best. 

• The Widow's Offering (Mark 12:41-44, Luke 21:1-4, Matthew 6:19-21)
• God sent His Son, Jesus, on a rescue mission to save us because He loves us.
• Followers of Jesus give their first and best because God gave His first and best. 

May 8+11: A disciple tells others about Jesus. 

• Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind (Acts 1:8, John 9:1-41)
• Jesus taught His disciples to go and share the gospel with the world.
• Followers of Jesus should share the Good News with all people.

May 15+18: A disciple discovers salvation in Jesus. 

• For God So Loved the World (John 3:1-23)
• God loved us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus on a rescue mission for us.
• When we put our faith in Jesus, we can be forgiven of our sins and live with Him forever. 
  
  

May 22+25: A disciple lives in community with other disciples. 

• The Fellowship of the Believers (Acts 2:42-47)
• The early church shows us how God calls His people to live together in community with other believers.
• Followers of Jesus are called to love one another, help each other and worship God together. 
  
  

May 29+June 1: A disciple deepens their faith in Jesus. 

• I Am the True Vine (John 15:1-17, Hebrews 12:1-2)
• Jesus calls his disciples to abide in Him like a branch from a vine.
• Just like a branch needs the vine to stay healthy and grow fruit, following Jesus every day will help us grow in faith and love.

Beach Baptism

Celebrate with us as our church family publicly proclaims Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior! May 18 at Hanna Park, immediately following the 11:22am service.

It is our conviction that baptism should occur only as a symbol after someone has surrendered their life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Summer Family Discipleship Class
This training is designed to equip you in using our Family Discipleship resources to create and maintain healthy rhythms of discipleship in your home. Through engaging sessions and hands-on resources, this training empowers families to grow together in faith. Parenting Encounter
Join us on June 13-15, at The Eleven22 Retreat Center as we explore what the Bible says about raising children and how to apply these truths in your home. This will also be a time to connect with other parents, share challenges, and encourage and pray for one another.
